Boys and girls of all ages are invited to help spread the good cheer of the holiday season as a student ballet dancer in The Nutcracker! Sacred Heart School for the Arts will hold open auditions for its annual full-length production of The Nutcracker ballet on Saturday, September 8 from 12 to 5 p.m. Boys and girls, ages 5 to 18, who are currently enrolled in an area dance school and have one year of ballet experience are welcome to audition for a variety of roles. Audition times are based on age. Please call 502.897.1816 for specific audition times. There is no fee to audition.
Auditions will be held at Sacred Heart School for the Arts, 3105 Lexington Road, Angela Hall, bldg. 17 on the Ursuline Campus.
Performance dates for the ballet are December 7-16. Dancers will have the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Ursuline Arts Center, a 500-seat professional caliber theatre on the Ursuline Campus.
