Guests were treated to an impressive vocal recital by students of Dr. Laura Chipe. The talent that she has developed in her elementary, middle, and high school students is truly incredible! The recital concluded with a celebration of Dr. Chipe’s 17 years at SHSA.
Students, parents, family, friends, KayDawn McFarland (pianist), Rozanna Thompson (harpist), former SHSA director Anna Jo Paul, Dr. Karen McNay, and current Executive Director Andrea Diggs thanked Dr. Chipe for sharing her gifts with the Sacred Heart campus, from toddlers at Sacred Heart Preschool to the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville, handbell students at Sacred Heart Model School, to girls she has guided in their journeys from SHMS through Sacred Heart Academy.
Through private instruction, musicals, performances, and classes, she has guided her students’ voices to become closer to God and pursue a more just world. Thank you, Dr. Chipe, for your service to Sacred Heart! Enjoy your new role as a grandmother!
